SUMMARY:Habitat Restoration
DESCRIPTION:Online registration is required. Complete and submit the new
  SHORT-TERM volunteer form from the City of Torrance.\n\nOpen to ages 10
  and up. Volunteers support habitat restoration by removing non-native p
 lants\, clearing vegetation\, and planting native species to improve con
 ditions for local wildlife such as birds\, butterflies\, and pollinators
 . Events take place on select Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. All to
 ols are provided\, but volunteers should come prepared to work outdoors.
  Activities may be canceled due to bad weather.\n\n 	School Service Cred
 its - Students can earn school service credits by registering for Satur
 day Restoration events. No walk-ins or late arrivals allowed. Come ready
  to work—wear closed-toe shoes and leave electronics at home.\n 	Age R
 equirement - Open to ages 10 and up. Participants 14 and under must be 
 accompanied by an adult. All minors (under 18) must bring signed consent
