SUMMARY:Habitat Restoration
DESCRIPTION:Open to ages 10 and up. Volunteers support habitat restorati
 on by removing non-native plants\, clearing vegetation\, and planting na
 tive species to improve conditions for local wildlife such as birds\, bu
 tterflies\, and pollinators. Events take place on select Saturdays from 
 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. All tools are provided\, but volunteers should come
  prepared to work outdoors. Activities may be canceled due to bad weathe
 r.\n\n 	School Service Credits - Students can earn school service credi
 ts by registering for Saturday Restoration events. No walk-ins or late a
 rrivals allowed. Come ready to work—wear closed-toe shoes and leave el
 ectronics at home.\n 	Age Requirement - Open to ages 10 and up. Partici
 pants 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All minors (under 18
 ) must bring signed consent and waiver forms from a parent or legal guar
 dian.\n\nOnline registration is required. Complete and submit the new SH
 ORT-TERM volunteer form from the City of Torrance.\n\nRegister Here
