 re Center\, and have the opportunity to chat with the artist herself abo
 ut her work and her inspirations.\n\nStephanie Hu is a local artist and 
 designer focused on helping steward a beautiful and just Los Angeles tha
 t can be shared by all its inhabitants. She grew up in Torrance\, CA\, a
 nd is a proud alumna of Victor Elementary School\, Bert Lynn Middle Scho
 ol\, and West High School before completing her BFA at the Rhode Island 
 School of Design. Returning to Torrance\, she now works as a web designe
 r and co-runs just4la\, an art + urban planning practice committed to re
 pairing and strengthening local Los Angeles communities by reimagining p
 ublic spaces\, place-making/keeping and amplifying local stories. Alongs
 ide her acrylic paintings\, she practices woodworking\, ceramics\, tradi
