We are completely booked for the remainder of the Spring 2026 school tour season through June 15. Requests are being accepted for other tours and programs, but our school field trip calendar is now closed for the remainder of the school year.
Use this form to request a two-hour docent-guided tour for preschool through college students from October through May. Adult groups are also welcome to request guided tours.

Trained Marsh Docents introduce students to one of the last remaining vernal freshwater marshes in Los Angeles County through fun, interactive experiences. Learn about the diversity of life in the Preserve, how these plants and animals are specially adapted to the challenging conditions of their unique habitats, and what visitors can do to help protect and restore this unique community resource.
This two-hour tour will visit the Marsh Nature Center and the Preserve.

All programs are aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

Tour type requested: Two-hour tour of Preserve and Nature Center (60 students + adults max per day) Option: Tour and Water Lab (WET SEASON ONLY, DEPENDS ON AVAILABILITY OF ORGANISMS. 5th grade and up) Maximum 30 students per day. This option includes a 35-minute water lab and a guided visit to the Preserve and Nature Center. Option: Tour and Nonfiction Book Read-Aloud (TK-2nd grade) Maximum 30 students per day. Typical Program Details

Program Length: 120 minutes (2 hours). Your group may bring sack lunches and stay on site after your tour, if desired. Please arrange transportation accordingly.
Time Offered: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please arrive by 9:45 am so your visit can start promptly.
