Tour type requested: ALL AGES: NATURE EXPLORERS ON THE TRAIL! Our classic two-hour tour. Includes time in our Preserve and Nature Center. (60 students + adults max per day) GRADES K-2: LITTLE READERS, BIG NATURE ADVENTURES. 1.5 - 2 hours: Includes Preserve, Exhibit Hall, and a nonfiction read-aloud story. Aligned with TUSD Literacy Standards & Core Nonfiction Reading List. (Max. 30 students per visit) 2ND GRADE: MADRONA MARSH MASTERPIECES. Integrates science, art and reading. 2.5 hours: includes Preserve tour with focus on the diversity of life in different habitats; plein-air sketching; non-fiction read-aloud about a nature artist. Aligns with NGSS, VPA, ELA Standards. (Max. 45 students per visit.) 5TH GRADE AND UP: WETLAND DETECTIVES. 2 hours, Preserve Tour and Water Lab. Students learn to use microscopes to observe & identify the wide variety of small organisms found in seasonal pools and ponds. (WET SEASON ONLY, DEPENDS ON AVAILABILITY OF POND ORGANISMS.) Additional Visit Details and Date Requests

Program Start Time: 10:00 am. Please arrive by 9:45 am so your visit can start promptly.

Lunch: Your group may bring sack lunches and stay on site after your tour, if desired. Please arrange transportation accordingly.
Pick your preferred date. Choice must be Tuesday - Thursday; October 1 through May 31. We will do our best to accommodate your first preference, but this date is not guaranteed. We cannot accommodate dates less than 2 weeks in advance. We will notify you with your final date. Pick your preferred date.
