Observe and listen to the sounds of animals and insects as they begin their nightly activities. Come join us for this unique experience that will captivate everyone. \nLimited to 15 people total\, including children. Volunteers support habitat restoration by removing non-native plants\, clearing vegetation\, and planting native species to improve conditions for local wildlife such as birds\, butterflies\, and pollinators. Events take place on select Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. All tools are provided\, but volunteers should come prepared to work outdoors. Activities may be canceled due to bad weather. \n\nSchool Service Credits – Students can earn school service credits by registering for Saturday Restoration events. No walk-ins or late arrivals allowed. Come ready to work—wear closed-toe shoes and leave electronics at home.\nAge Requirement – Open to ages 10 and up. Participants 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All minors (under 18) must bring signed consent and waiver forms from a parent or legal guardian.\n\nOnline registration is required. Complete and submit the new SHORT-TERM volunteer form from the City of Torrance. \nRegister Here
