Tanner Ellis Film 12:30 p.m.
Tanner Ellis was a graduate student in environmental studies at California University Santa Barbara in 2023 when he completed his film about saving Madrona Marsh.
Tanner is from Torrance, and he is interested in environmental advocacy powered by residents who saved this acreage as wild space. He spent time touring the Nature Center and Preserve with Suzan Hubert and Bill Arrowsmith before creating his film.
It concisely retells the years of work that resulted in the Madrona Marsh Preserve. It is also a message of encouragement to future advocates for saving wild spaces.
Meeting: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Nature Center
3201 Plaza del Amo, Torrance, CA 90503
