The Friends Environmental Leadership Scholarship Program is open to Torrance area school students who complete a certain number of volunteer hours and enhance their leadership skills while preserving and protecting wild spaces in the South Bay. Contact the Friends for more information.

Ralphs Reward Program
Select Madrona Marsh for Community Contributions through the Ralphs Rewards Program.
Ralphs Market has a Community Contributions Program that donates a portion of the money you spend at their supermarkets to local charities who sign up for the Ralphs Reward Card Program. The Friends of Madrona Marsh is a registered community charity in that program. You can support the Madrona Marsh Preserve in Torrance simply by buying your normal groceries.
Your donations help continue the stewardship of this urban wildspace. The funds collected are wisely invested in maintaining the Nature Preserve and in education programs for the youth of Torrance and surrounding communities.
