Friday Fun is a hands-on program for preschoolers, age 3-6, and their parents or guardians. The program is offered at no charge every Friday. The program will incorporate story time, science, art, and a tour emphasizing the chosen topic. Some weeks, there will also be potting or other activities. The topics emphasize respect for all
Henrietta Basin Walk

Join our docent-led walk around the Henrietta Basin on the 3rd Saturday of every month and learn about the City’s Stormwater Enhancement Program. Observe birds and other wildlife living in and benefitting from the basin’s open habitat space. Open to all ages! Bring binoculars and wear closed-toed shoes. Meet at the Basin’s north entrance on
Nature Walk

This docent-led walk around the Preserve is great for families and individuals looking for an introduction to the plants and wildlife commonly found at the Madrona Marsh and around the South Bay. Nature Walk occurs every Saturday. Participation is free. Registration is not required. Walks can be canceled due to weather, call for current status.
Discovery Zone – Explore, Discover, Wonder!

Welcome to the Discovery Zone at Madrona Marsh — a hands-on space where young explorers can learn about nature through play, curiosity, and discovery!
