Welcome to the 2026 Junior Naturalist Program for students entering grades 6–8 in September 2026. Friday Fun
at –
Friday Fun is a hands-on program for preschoolers, age 3-6, and their parents or guardians. The program is offered at no charge every Friday. The program will incorporate story time, science, art, and a tour emphasizing the chosen topic. Some weeks, there will also be potting or other activities. The topics emphasize respect for all
Bird Walk – PV/SB Audubon Society

Join docents from the Palos Verdes/South Bay Audubon Society for a walk around the Madrona Marsh Preserve, where you’ll begin to identify common birds along with their calls and interactions. Bird Walk is geared towards beginner and intermediate birders of all ages. Pre-registration is now optional. Please call the Nature Center if you would like
Nature Walk

This docent-led walk around the Preserve is great for families and individuals looking for an introduction to the plants and wildlife commonly found at the Madrona Marsh and around the South Bay. Nature Walk occurs every Saturday. Participation is free. Registration is not required. Walks can be canceled due to weather, call for current status.
